Reykjavik Panorama from Perlan

Perlan

Huge building of Perlan is composed of 6 water tanks topped with a pearl like glass dome, housing a posh restaurant, hence Perlan, and supplies whole Reykjavik and few neighboring towns with hot geothermal water.

The top terrace offers an absolutely wonderful view of whole capital region and surrounding mountains – if weather permits. I went there on the sunny evening of the 3rd of September 2008, took series of pictures, and later joined then in the Photoshop. Current preview is a down-sampled version of 23 000 pixel original. This panorama covers almost whole view except for the airport where the sun was just setting.
