This thesis was submitted as the final diploma requirement in the Master study programme Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, specialization Computer Science and Engineering, in the Department of Computers, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic in the May 2007.
Contents
- An extensive overview of the current situation in the field of adaptive hypermedia e-learning systems consisting of reviews of 71 systems, overview of the most important standardization efforts, and a global summary of trends (101 pages).
- Design and implementation of Electronic Adaptive Textbook (EAT) a system for adaptive online textbook delivery which should be a component of a larger adaptive hypermedia architecture ADAPT2. The system is implemented using Python Server Pages (PSP) and is therefore unfortunately not supported by my current hosting service provider.
