Snowy Panorama of Reykjavik from Perlan

Perlan

4th of October greeted us with golden sun-rays glittering on pillows of new fresh white soft snow covering all the houses, trees, and roads. Reykjavík looked absolutely wonderful, the day was very bright, sky was crystal clean deep blue, and everything seemed perfect (although economic crisis was lurking underneath). I wanted to take pictures right away in the morning but it was not before 3 o'clock school released me, and most of the snow in the city was unfortunately melted by then.

Huge building of Perlan is composed of 6 water tanks topped with a pearl like glass dome, housing a posh restaurant, hence Perlan, and supplies whole Reykjavik and few neighboring towns with hot geothermal water.
